Product Support Sales RepresentativeJob LocationsUS-SC-LongsJob ID2023-2240CategorySales & RentalTypeFull-TimeOverviewThe Product Support Sales Representative will provide a turnkey inspection management process for Key Customer Accounts that will include tracking, monitoring, scheduling, coordinating, and performing hands-on machine inspections (including, but not limited to undercarriage, machine, and bucket) utilizing computerized systems and tools.

Use software tools (e.
g.
, Microsoft Excel, Word, CAT Inspect, Custom Track Solutions) to analyze data, create recommendations, and propose solutions to customers that best resolve stated issues.
Manage and schedule equipment inspections with key customers' equipment division leaders.
Perform regular undercarriage, machine, and bucket / wear item inspections of key customer assets to maximize product life expectancy, reducing product failures leading to lower owning and operating costs.
Prepare detailed inspection reports, including recommendations for repairs or maintenance work.
Coordinate with customer representative for forecasting, budgeting, and fleet analytics.
Perform annual/bi-annual full machine inspection and provide report.
Prepare and manage the current fleet summary report submitted weekly to both customer and sales personnel.
Company vehicle, tools, safety equipment and expense account provided.
Other duties as assigned.

years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance or related field.
Proficient in Microsoft suite and business software tools.
Knowledge of heavy construction equipment, preferably in maintenance and repair.
Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to construction equipment.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Must be able to drive to customer worksites.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Bilingual preferred.
High analytical and problem-solving skills.
Southeast travel required.
Working Conditions and Physical RequirementsThe physical environment requires the employee to work outside in wet weather conditions when clients are unable to operate equipment.
Travel expectations will depend on the distribution of customer machines, weekly overnight stays will be required.
Required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to injury and/or hazardous materials.
Job requires standing, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, twisting, turning and lifting.
Must be able to lift varied weights up to 50-lbs.
